• Visit sites to document existing conditions, take measurements, and identify design opportunities and practical constraints.
• Create concept sketches, landscape plans, planting layouts, and visual presentations using hand-drawing and landscape design software.
• Present design ideas to customers, listen to feedback, and revise plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with the team to help translate approved designs into projects that can be installed.
• Visit active projects as needed to answer design questions and observe how plans are taking shape.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in landscape design, landscape architecture, or a closely related role.
• Strong drawing and visual communication skills, including the ability to develop clear landscape plans.
• Experience with landscape design or architectural drafting software, such as AutoCAD, Landscape Architect Software, SketchUp, Vectorworks, or comparable tools.
• Strong people skills and confidence speaking directly with customers about their needs and design preferences.
• Clear spoken and written English communication for customer meetings, presentations, and project documentation.
• Comfort working both at a desk and outdoors during site visits.
• A portfolio or examples of sketches, plans, renderings, or completed design work.
• Experience with South Florida plants and landscape materials is a plus.

Benefits:

• Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance
• Training under an experienced Landscape Designer
• Career Growth opportunities as the company grows

Interested? Apply with your resume and a portfolio or samples of your design work. Avanti Strategic Group will review your experience and contact you if it aligns with this opportunity.
